Dunbar Cycles inks biggest ad deal in Cycling history!

Dunbar Cycles recently inked a deal with TSN for a reported $680,000 for a series of TV commercials, featuring the launch of a new product, to air during this years Hockey playoffs. This sets the record for the most dollars spent by a cycling company for a single advertising campaign. Dunbar Cycles CEO, Rob Venables, stated in an interview: "As soon as we got word of this new product, we knew that it would revolutionize the cycling world and we had to jump on the opportunity"

The Commercial is said to be starring Canadian Superstar Steve Smith, who recently won the Silver Medal at the 2010 World Championships in Mont St. Anne, Quebec.

 That's funny as well, because someone actually did that before too - a little company called Campagnolo, in about 1985, their first and last MTB group. I think it was called Euclid, and it had little QRs on everything in sight. Stem, bars, even under the seat, so you could slide the seat back for the downhills. It was the ultimate component group for the indecisive cyclist.

 This would be funnier if people hadn't ACTUALLY DONE THIS long ago during the birth of suspension back in the nineties. I don't recall if anyone marketed an official one, but it was thrown around as a great way to convert your bike for race day, and people would make custom ones, thinking they were ever so clever. I even remember some stupid ass magazine recommending it.

 but some bikes like mine have way too many washers and spacers and caps in the pivot joints, its a big pain to dissasemble. P.S. I could just use my stiffy, its free and i can get it when i want.
